ustwo games has pledged to donate 3% of Monument Valley 3’s profits over the next three years directly to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and its Disaster Response Emergency Fund, in support of flood relief efforts worldwide.
The partnership follows Monument Valley 3’s launch on Netflix Games on December 10th, 2024, providing an opportunity for players to learn about the IFRC’s flood relief efforts in-game at the end of Monument Valley 3’s story.
Players can also learn more on a “purpose-built microsite“.
Supporting communities
Building upon the series’ well-known puzzle adventures and isometric gameplay, Monument Valley 3 features landscapes impacted by flooding and harsh climate conditions. Players can work in-game to support affected communities, just as the IFRC brings aid and recovery to support real-world communities impacted by climate disasters.
Players can also contribute to those real-world initiatives and directly support communities affected by flooding.
“We’re incredibly excited to partner with the IFRC for Monument Valley 3,” said ustwo games CEO Maria Sayans.
“At ustwo games, we believe in the power of games to positively impact the world. Through this partnership, we hope to raise awareness about the far-reaching consequences of floods and inspire our players to join us in supporting the IFRC’s vital relief efforts.”
IFRC head of strategic partnerships Alessandro Fedele added: “Floods have a profound impact on communities, often leaving them struggling to rebuild. We are grateful for ustwo games’ commitment to supporting our mission.
“This partnership allows us to provide even more essential aid to people in need, helping them rebuild and recover in the wake of disaster.”
A Top 50 UK Game Maker, ustwo games also appeared on stage at PGC London 2025 to discuss third-party stores, discoverability, and premium games’ “natural home” in the subscription space.
