How many cans of Spaghettios would it take to write the entire Lord of the Rings book series? Someone on social media has now found the answer to the question no one was asking.
TikTok user tsj_electronics (via InTheKnow) created a program that reveals the number of cans of Spaghettios required to write a book, and naturally, this person assigned the script to The Lord of the Rings. In short, the person looked at real cans of Spaghettios and determined the average breakdown of letters in each, and then put this information into the computer to come up results. For anyone wondering, Os make up the highest percentage of letters in a can of Spaghettios, on average and the letter “E” is the most common letter in The Lord of the Rings.
The Lord of the Rings trilogy (not including The Hobbit) is made up of 2,261,081 letters, apparently, and the computer program determined that it would take 8,795 cans of Spaghettios to write the novel series (which would cost more than $12,000 to purchase). There would be more than 8.1 million Spaghettios left over.
So, there you have it, folks. Use this information to impress your friends, or whatever.
