Fans of the Soulslike genre have long been divided on whether the games should allow you to respec your ability points or if you should be forced to live with your choices permanently. Lies of P opts for the middle-ground by allowing respecs but forcing players to wait until very late in the game to access the feature. If you’re wanting to reallocate some stats, here’s how to respec in Lies of P.
How to respec in Lies of P
The ability to respec in Lies of P comes rather late in the game. You’ll need to progress the main story to Chapter VII and explore the entirety of the Grand Exhibition, ultimately defeating its final boss and earning yourself a key to open the door to the Saintess of Mercy Statue.
From the Grand Exhibition Conference Room Stargazer, backtrack into the Grand Exhibition and go up the stairs, then take a right to lead you back into the gardens. On the back wall there is a large green door you can open using the key. Inside, you’ll find a new Stargazer and a massive Saintess of Mercy Statue, which you can approach to reset your level, P-Organ allocations, and Legion Arm upgrades using Gold Coin Fruits.
Each time you respec using the Saintess of Mercy Statue, you’ll have to give up more and more Gold Coin Fruits, so be sure you’re keeping stocked up on those back at the hotel if you plan to change up your build with any frequency.
