A new Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora update is now live on PC and consoles, introducing new improvements and features to the game developed by Ubisoft Massive.
The 3.2 update, which weighs 2.4 GB on PlayStation 5, 3.1 GB on Xbox Series X|S, and 3 GB on PC, introduces a 40 FPS mode on consoles as well as Intel XeSS support on PC, though the patch notes don’t specify if the game supports the latest version of the upscaler. The update also rolls back AMD FSR 3 temporarily to the previously used version to prevent visual artifacts from impacting the interpolation output of FSR 3 Frame Generation. Select improvements introduced by the latest version of AMD’s upscaler, however, have been kept, such as UI improvements with Frame Generation enabled.
The new Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora update also introduces fixes for controller remapping, crashes, and other bugs. You can find the full update notes on Ubisoft’s official website.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a remarkable achievement in many ways, bringing a cinematic world to life on a massive, technically-impressive scale like few games have done before. Unfortunately, limited, frustrating combat means the game isn’t always that fun to play once you bump into the RDA. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s world is worth experiencing if you’re a fan of James Cameron’s movies, but as the franchise often reminds us, sky people ruin beautiful things.
