UFD, la distribuidora de electricidad del Grupo Naturgy, invertirá un total de 1.430 millones de euros con vistas al 2027. Una maniobra con la que aspira a reforzar su red eléctrica en España con el objetivo de optimizar el servicio a los clientes y favorecer el desarrollo de la transición energética. La inversión prevista es un 11% superior a la acometida durante el periodo 2020-2023, demostrando la vocación de mejora continua a partir de la innovación de la organización.
Según se ha dado a conocer desde la compañía, las inversiones previstas durante el próximo trienio se destinarán principalmente a innovación y aplicación de nuevas tecnologías vinculadas con la telemedida y la sensorización, así como al robustecimiento de las infraestructuras a través de la construcción de nuevas líneas o subestaciones y la renovación o modernización de instalaciones ya existentes.

Con el punto de mira fijo en el presente ejercicio, la compañía destinará más de 350 millones de euros a la materialización de proyectos de supervisión avanzada en baja tensión, actuaciones en media y alta tensión, ciberseguridad y gestión avanzada de activos, entre otras cuestiones. En este sentido, el grueso de la inversión se concentrará en Galicia, donde UFD es el principal distribuidor eléctrico, con una partida de 590 millones de euros entre 2024 y 2027.
