- Built from the ground up for desktop and mobile, our new-look is the perfect place to keep ahead of what’s going on in the rapidly changing world of mobile games
- And don’t miss our podcasts, the Mobile Game Awards and news on our latest events too!
We’re delighted to finally reveal and launch the brand new PocketGamer.biz site.
It includes everything you expect from us as the leading mobile games industry trade website, including the latest breaking news, top interviews, and analyses on the big trends.
We’ve designed it to be much more aesthetically pleasing, make it easier to find the articles you want, and provide a website purpose-built for both desktop and mobile.
One of the first things you might notice is images – these are now much larger and you can click to enlarge them! No more squinting to see if that big game made $80 million or $90 million this month.
The homepage has been redesigned with a familiar feel, but it’s now much clearer and organised (we hope!).
You might also have noticed we’ve added infinite scroll on our stories, too, so you can quickly run through the breaking news without even having to click on them! It’s okay, you can thank us later.
If you have any feedback, please reach out and let us know. For now, we hope you enjoy the new layout!
To celebrate the launch, we’ll be running a number of articles about the history of the mobile games industry. Check out this (abridged) history of the sector here.
Big ambitions
The website continues to grow traffic – the number of users grew by about 30% year-over-year in May, and we aim to keep that going.
If you want to get the latest news, interviews and analyses straight to your inbox, please subscribe to our newsletter here. It’s easier than ever to sign up.
We’ve been hard at work on our Pocket Gamer Connects events and other new initiatives at PocketGamer.biz this past year.
We launched The Week in Mobile Games podcast earlier this year, where the team sits down to discuss the latest news and provide insights on the big stories.
This runs alongside our weekly interview series, where we interview key industry experts about the big topics and trends. Check out our podcast page and give it a listen. If you like it, please don’t forget to subscribe!
We’ve got the Mobile Games Awards coming to Cologne on August 20th – you can grab your ticket here. Later this year we’ll also be launching the Top 50 Mobile Game Makers list for 2024, too. (You can check out our list of Top 50 Mobile Game Makers for 2023 here).
Then we’ve got Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki coming up on October 1st and 2nd. We’re also set to return for Pocket Gamer Connects Jordan on November 9th and 10th.
On top of all this, we’re working on a number of other exciting new initiatives, so stay tuned for those!
In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the new and improved website!
