“Attending the Pocket Gamer Connects conference in Dubai was a remarkable experience,” said Figuerola.
“The conference was buzzing with energy and innovation, set against the vibrant backdrop of one of the world’s most dynamic cities. One of the highlights for me was the exclusive event at the Museum of the Future.
“It was there that I had the pleasure of meeting Chris James, Steel Media’s CEO. Our conversation was enlightening, as we exchanged ideas about the future of gaming and technology, inspired by the museum’s awe-inspiring exhibits.
“Being a jury member for the prestigious MENA Games Industry Awards was another standout moment. The event was a testament to the incredible talent and creativity flourishing in the MENA region. Evaluating the submissions and recognising the achievements of the industry’s best was both an honour and a responsibility I cherished deeply.
“As I look forward to joining the Pocket Gamer Connects conference in Helsinki as a speaker, I can’t help but dream of a future edition in my hometown, Barcelona. The city’s rich cultural heritage and innovative spirit would make it a perfect host for such a dynamic event.
“Until then, the memories of Dubai and the anticipation of Helsinki keep my excitement for the gaming industry alive.”
