Web3 games infrastructure company Stardust has launched a consumer-facing unified rewards and social games platform called Starbase.
Companies that have partnered for the release include Nifty Island, Shrapnel, BloodLoop, Habbo Hotel, The Mystery Society and Cap’n’Company. So far, over 20 games have been made available on the platform.
At launch, over 25 missions and challenges have gone live, allowing players to earn Gems while they play. These form part of a larger rewards system within a broader network called Starnet, and can be redeemed for game currency and tokens, in-game items, and more.
Starbase plans to unveil new partners every week and has already onboarded over 20 web3 games to its platform.
Growing the web3 ecosystem
“Starbase is the first piece of the Starnet vision, building an ecosystem of products to supercharge web3 gaming,” said Stardust CEO and founder Canaan Linder.
“With Starnet, we’re on a mission to accelerate gaming through a programmatic decentralised user acquisition protocol.
“Starbase is a standalone missions platform that rewards players for playing Starnet-partnered games – and is Starnet’s first step to usher in a billion players to web3.”
