Games commerce company Xsolla has appointed Cathleen Nilson as its new chief financial officer.
She joins from SaaS AI company Kami Vision, where she had served as CFO. Prior to that, she has worked at Turing as global VP, CFO and strategic advisor to the CEO, at Samsung as group CFO and head of operation excellence. She has also worked at Google, EA and Intel, among other firms.
Xsolla said her expertise includes corporate finance, strategic financial planning, operations, and spearheading strategy.
“Significant milestone”
“Cathleen Nilson’s appointment as CFO marks a significant milestone for Xsolla,” said Xsolla CEO Shurick Agapitov.
“Her extensive experience and proven track record in driving financial growth and operational excellence align perfectly with our mission to support developers and publishers worldwide in achieving their goals. We are confident that Cathleen will play a pivotal role in our continued expansion and innovation in the gaming industry.”
Nilson added: “I am thrilled to join such a dynamic and forward-thinking company. Xsolla’s commitment to empowering game developers and publishers is truly inspiring. I look forward to working with the leadership team to further build on the company’s ongoing success and growth to advance the company’s mission to innovate and increase access across the gaming ecosystem.”
Xsolla has made numerous announcements recently as it expands its services and operations. Just this week it opened a new office in Beijing, China, a move it said signified the firm’s “renewed commitment” to growing the industry in China and global markets.
