After announcing that Monument Valley (and it’s sequel) will be coming to Netflix, it looks like its eagerly awaited rollout has begun. The game has surfaced with downloads via Netflix in Pakistan according to data from AppMagic.
The announcement that both games in ustwo’s popular and award-winning series would be arriving on Netflix’s subscriber-only games service came as part of the first game’s 10th anniversary celebrations back on April 3rd 2024.
The celebrations featured reduced pricing for the games and add-ons on Steam, a celebration video (below), new fan content and downloads, and a series of interviews.
Plus the small matter of both games moving to Netflix – something of a coup for the streamer’s games service as both titles had previously been resident on Apple’s rival Arcade service following years as premium app store purchases.
The game is currently marked with its release date being August 6th and – at the time of writing – has 137 downloads, 100% of which are in Pakistan.
The game’s sequel – Monument Valley 2 – is yet to appear but all the signs are that a global roll-out for both games is now in progress.
