Anker’s Eufy smart home division launched a new series of outdoor lights (and one indoor lamp) at IFA today that give homeowners surprising versatility and control. They can not only be synchronized to music, but they can also be paired with Eufy’s security cameras to create welcoming lighting scenes when guests arrive—or visual warnings to any ne’er-do-wells who might cross your property line uninvited.
Your options might seem infinite: These lights feature RGBWW technology to deliver not only 16 million colors, but also white light in various color temperatures. Each LED is comprised of five diodes: Red, green, blue, cool white, and warm white, which should allow you to create lighting scenes for every season and holiday throughout the year.
Eufy offers more than 80 preset themes, or you can design your own lighting and color patterns as well as brightness levels using the Eufy Life App and your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. All these new lights can be operated with voice commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Voice; unfortunately, neither Apple Home nor Matter are supported at launch (that support might come later). You can also set up the lights to pulse to music as picked up by your smartphone’s mic.
On the security front, when paired with Eufy security cameras, the lights can be programmed to change colors or become brighter when a person comes into view. Using the cameras’ facial-recognition feature, guests and members of your household can be welcomed with friendly hues, while strangers get greeted with bright and cold white light.
Here’s the lineup that Eufy is showing at IFA 2024:
Eufy Permanent Outdoor Lights E22
Anker/Eufy
Affordable DIY smart eave lighting is rapidly becoming a thing. TechHive just reviewed the excellent Enbrighten Eternity Lights, and Nanoleaf’s Permanent Outdoor Lights are also on display at the show. Eufy’s Permanent Outdoor Lights E22 come in 50- or 100-foot lengths that boast UV resistance and IP65 protection from the elements (sufficient to provide complete protection from particulate matter and water jets from any direction, according to our IP ratings explainer).
The power adapter, meanwhile, is rated IP67, meaning it can withstand being immersed in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. The lights are rated to deliver 55,000 hours of use at temperatures ranging from minus four degrees Fahrenheit to 140F (-20C to 60C).
Eufy Permanent Outdoor Lights come in 16.4-foot (5-meter) segments (white cables only), with 30 LED nodes in the 50-foot kit and 60 nodes in the 100-foot kit. Users can connect multiple segments up to a maximum length of 150 feet (45 meters), but you can’t trim excess lengths to fit. Eufy says current decay will reduce the Permanent Outdoor Lights’ brightness from a very bright 90 lumens (at cool white) after about 100 feet, but that the difference won’t be discernable to the naked idea unless it’s compared to a 100-foot or shorter string.
Eufy Permanent Outdoor Lights (model T8L02) should be available soon in the U.S. and Europe. A 50-foot string (15 meters) will be priced at $199.99/€169.99, while the 100-foot kit (30 meters) will cost $299.99/€249.99. They’re covered by a 24-month warranty. Eufy also intends to sell extension kits, without the power supply, on its website (pricing TBA).

Eufy Outdoor String Lights E10
Anker/Eufy
Eufy Outdoor String Lights E10 consist of small globes featuring Eufy’s WonderShine technology, which blends three LEDs (RGB, warm white, and cool white) to offer brighter colors and a wide color temperature range, from a very warm 1500 Kelvin to an icy 9000K.
The manufacturer says these strings have a dual-layer reinforced cord that can endure up to 1,000 bends, while IP65 weatherization and UV resistance ensure reliable performance in all weather conditions, at temperatures ranging from minus 4 degrees Fahrenheit to plus 113F (-20C to 45C).
Eufy expects to fetch $129.99/€99.99 for a 96-foot string, and it covers the product with an 18-month warranty.
Eufy Outdoor Spotlights E10
Anker/Eufy
Eufy’s Outdoor Spotlights E10 are directional stake lights for highlighting features such as specimen plants and trees, sculptures and birdbaths, and other permanent landscape elements. They’re constructed from automotive engine-grade aluminum and carry an IP65 weatherization rating. Those specs should render the spotlights exceptionally durable, resistant to corrosion, wear, and rust.
Eufy claims a more than 50,000-hour lifespan for the spotlight’s LEDs, and it covers them with an 18-month warranty. They should be available later this month in a 2-pack for $99.99/€89.99.
Eufy Outdoor Pathway Lights E10
Anker/Eufy
To illuminate sidewalks and paths in your garden, consider Eufy’s Outdoor Pathway Lights. These cylindrical stake lights use the same RGBWW LED lighting as the rest of the lineup and deliver up to 350 lumens of white light. They come with an 18-month warranty and are available now in a 4-pack for $169.99 (they’ll be available in Europe later this month for €149.99). A 2-pack is also available for $99.99 (one power supply can support four lights), but Eufy didn’t provide us with Euro pricing for that SKU.
Eufy Indoor Floor Lamp E10
Anker/Eufy
Finally, the Eufy Indoor Floor Lamp E10 is a slim torch-style that offers up to 1,700 lumens of brightness and promises ultra-smooth color transitions. Pair it with a Eufy camera and create your own personal lighting scheme for more dramatic entrances to your living room. The 55-inch lamp comes with an 18-month warranty and is available in the U.S. now for $99.99. It will be available in Europe later this month for €99.99.
We’ll publish in-depth reviews of each of these products as soon as we receive samples.
