Kabam will shut down its mobile and PC action RPG Disney Mirrorverse two and a half years after it first launched worldwide in June 2022.
As of today, all in-app purchases will be disabled and the game is no longer available to download.
Servers will remain running for existing players that already have the title installed until December 16th, 2024.
No reason for the game’s cancellation was provided in a company statement on the matter.
Declining sales
Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse was an action RPG that brought together characters from across Disney and Pixar’s franchises, including Toy Story, The Lion King, Aladdin, Frozen, Mickey Mouse, and more.
According to AppMagic estimates, Disney Mirrorverse has generated $34.1 million in lifetime gross revenue ($23.9 net) on mobile.
Player spending in the title peaked at $5.8m in July 2022, before a steep decline the following month to $2.7m. In August 2024, the title generated just $273k for the month.
