Nexon and Tencent’s breakout hit Dungeon & Fighter: Mobile has surpassed $800 million in lifetime gross revenue on the China App Store just four months after launching in the country.
That’s according to AppMagic estimates, which puts the figure to date at $808.9 million. The title is also available on third-party Android stores in China, likely making the true total a lot higher.

The latest entry in the $22 billion Dungeon & Fighter franchise, Dungeon & Fighter: Mobile has more than proven the Chinese mobile market ready for another entry from this 19-year-old brand, filling the void left by Dungeon & Fighter: Spirit, which closed down in 2017.
China’s appetite for more beat ‘em up battle action has garnered Nexon and Tencent an average $6.5 million per day in gross revenue through Dungeon & Fighter: Mobile. On its best day to date, June 22nd, the game raked in a mighty $9.9 million in earnings.
In that first month, Dungeon & Fighter: Mobile achieved $500 million in player spending in China and was projected to surpass $2 billion this year. Revenue has since slowed, however, taking another three months to make a further $300 million.
September as a whole has brought down that daily average, rarely surpassing $5 million in daily revenue. But even on its worst-performing day yet, September 17th, the game managed to earn over $1.9 million.
Despite being a highly anticipated adaptation of the original 2005 PC game, it was delayed by years in China as a result of heavy-handed government restrictions on the video games market – for which the country has grown infamous.
When at last Dungeon & Fighter: Mobile did release in China, its first month on iOS brought in twice the revenue of Tencent flagship Honor of Kings.
