Gacha games giant HoYoverse has filed yet another trademark, this time for a title called Petit Planet.
As discovered on Reddit, the trademark is pending approval in the US after being filed on October 31st, 2024.
While this could be another new title from the Genshin Impact maker, it may also be a retitled Astaweave Haven – an unannounced HoYoverse game that was also trademarked earlier this year.

HoYoverse clearly hasn’t slowed down in developing new games, having registered a project called XinBuGuDi this February before Zenless Zone Zero had even been released.
The name translates roughly to “Star Cloth Valley”, but for months no further news came of the project.
Later, in June, HoYoverse filed trademarks for Astaweave Haven and Hoshimi Haven in Japan, which are presumed to be the same game by their English and Japanese names; the latter translates roughly to “Looking at the Star Haven.”
With all these trademarks having clear planetary themes, the newly filed Petit Planet may also refer to that same project – perhaps a reworked title from Astaweave Haven in the West.
HoYoverse has yet to acknowledge the new game to fans or unveil any trailers, but the name has led eager audiences to speculate that it will be a departure from the dev’s usual RPG approach and instead be more of a casual life sim.
More certain is that Astaweave Haven – whether the same game as Petit Planet or not – received a Chinese licence approval this July, permitting it to release on PC and mobile in the country.
A confidential playtest of an unspecified game is also planned for November 16th and 17th in Los Angeles, which may or may not prove to be for this same title.
