One of the best Black Friday gaming deals is still available as Cyber Monday promotions are starting to take over. The Meta Quest 3S comes with a free $75 digital gift card at Amazon and Target. This is an incredible deal, as the Quest 3S just released on October 15. The $299 VR headset is the best entry-level standalone headset you can buy. In addition to the $75 gift card, you’ll also get Meta’s awesome promotion: The Quest 3S is bundled with Batman: Arkham Shadow, a new action game that’s exclusive to the Quest 3S and Quest 3, and three months of Quest+, which gets you six more free games to keep.
The same promotion is now being offered for the $500 Quest 3 headset as a Doorbuster deal at Best Buy. Unsurprisingly, Amazon is matching the promotion, so you can get $75 of Amazon credit when purchasing the Quest 3, too. The Quest 3 also includes Batman: Arkham Shadow and three months of Quest+.

This offer is only for the 128GB version of the Quest 3S and the 512GB Quest 3. The Quest 3S 256GB model is not eligible for the $75 gift card, though you still get Batman and Quest+.
Target has the same deal both in stores and online, so if you’d rather have a $75 Target gift card, you have that option.
The Quest 3S shares a lot of hardware with its big brother, the Quest 3. It has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 chipset and 8GB of RAM, and this model ships with a pair of Touch Pro controllers that you can use to interact with apps and games. The battery life on this model is also better–up to two-and-a-half hours from a full charge compared to the two hours on the Quest 3–but the compromises here include the use of the same 1832 x 1920 fresnel lenses found in the Quest 2, a narrower field of vision, and no depth sensor.
Still, the Quest 3S offers tremendous value, even at full price, but when you throw a $75 Amazon gift card into the equation–plus the free games from Meta–it’s a steal.
Quest+ is a subscription program that regularly costs $8/month. It features a rotating library of games to play for free, but the big draw is the two freebies subscribers get each month. The pair of free games will remain in your library even if you cancel your subscription.

The Meta Quest 3 has 2064 x 2208 resolution pancake lenses, so it offers a wider field of view. The inclusion of a depth sensor makes a difference for mixed-reality games and experiences.
If you already have a Quest 2, both the 3S and 3 offer meaningful performance improvements, as well as the processing power needed to play graphically intensive games like Arkham Shadow, which is the latest Quest game to be exclusive to Meta’s Series 3 hardware.
That said, Quest 2 owners may want to consider splurging for the Meta Quest 3, as the upgraded lenses and improved resolution will feel like a far bigger leap forward.
