The latest entry in Sony’s villainous Spider-verse film franchise, Kraven the Hunter, has just landed in theaters, and naturally, there’s a Blu-ray preorder available online for it. We’ve got no idea yet if it’ll be better than recent Spider-verse films like Madame Web and Morbius–which admittedly isn’t a high bar to clear–but if you’re looking to complete your collection of Spider-Man collection, you can preorder this 4K Blu-ray at Amazon and Walmart.
This is currently priced at $66 at Amazon and $56 at Walmart, but it’s almost certainly going to drop closer to its yet-to-be-revealed release date. Typically, 4K Blu-rays retail for around $40, and with both retail chains offering a best-price guarantee, you’ll only pay the final and lowest price when the Blu-ray actually ships out. For now, preordering it will secure you a copy upon release day.
There’s no information on what the special features are, but we’ll update the post as soon as we have them. For now, we do know that the 4K version comes with the film on a standard Blu-ray disc and a digital streaming code.
Based on the iconic Spider-Man villain, Kraven is an origin story focused on the titular character as he embarks on path of vengeance with brutal consequences, eventually leading him to become the greatest and most feared hunter in the world. The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Kraven and Russell Crowe as his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff.
As mentioned above, you can complete your Spider-Man collection with a few more Blu-rays based on Spider-Man-adjacent villains and heroes. The most notable are the Venom films starring Tom Hardy. The final film in the trilogy, Venom: The Last Dance launches on Blu-ray On January 21, 2025 and is available to preorder in multiple formats, including a 4K Steelbook edition. The first two films, Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage are on sale right now, including limited steelbook editions of both films, plus a Blu-ray double pack that includes both movies in one package. However, if you can wait until next year, the Venom 3-Movie 4K Collection box set featuring all three films will be out on January 21, 2025 as well, and it comes with a Venom action figure that you definitely won’t play with while no one is watching.

Sony’s Spider-Man-less (for now) live-action film Spider-Verse also includes Madame Web and Morbius–two cheesy movie that became online meme fodder in the weeks after their respective releases. Morbius even got a second theatrical run because of how many people flocked to theaters to witness the trainwreck for themselves. If you feel like checking them out, the Blu-ray releases for both films are on sale now. You can grab the Madame Web 4K Limited Edition for $26 (was $56), but it’ll revert back to its regular price once all available stock at this price has been bought up. If that happens, the Madame Web Standard 4K Edition is also on sale for $25 (was $46). As for Morbius, the 4K Blu-ray version is down to $19.49 (was $31) at Amazon, while the standard Blu-ray version is just $11.59 (was $26).
