Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made history earlier this year with a record-breaking stream of Among Us, and now she’s gearing up for another round. This time, AOC will play in a stream organized by Jagmeet Singh, leader of the Canadian New Democratic Party.
Singh tweeted out news of the stream, which is set to happen on Friday, November 27 at 4PM PT (7PM ET). Streamers Ryan Letourneau and Hasanabi will also be taking part.
You can digitally RSVP for the stream through the New Democratic Party’s site, and receive a notification when the stream is set to begin. It hasn’t yet been announced whether the stream will be raising funds or raising awareness for any organization or cause, but it seems likely.
This is the first time that Singh has organized a stream, but it’s an increasingly popular way for politicians to connect with constituents, especially this year with so many stuck inside due to COVID-19. Last time, AOC streamed alongside US House Representative Ilhan Omar, and viewers were encouraged to make a voting plan. This stream is, of course, happening on the other side of the US presidential election.
