Apple’s hotly-anticipated MagSafe Duo charger has officially been priced, just in time for iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini preorders to go live.
An official Apple online store page has appeared, lining out the MagSafe Duo charger’s price of $129 along with additional images of the product. For that price, you get the charger itself and a 1-meter USB-C to Lightning cable (no power brick included).
The charger is capable of powering iPhone 12 and an Apple Watch simultaneously, with its unique two-panel design. There are scant additional details on the page, and nowhere to lock in a preorder just yet. Apple notes that the charger is “coming soon,” however, so it should be debuting in the coming days.
The MagSafe Duo was initially announced during the same presentation the the iPhone 12 lineup was. It recently passed Korea’s National Radio Research Agency (NRRA) certification, according to MacRumors, which is a good indicator that the product is well on its way to shipping out to eager buyers.
Right now, if you want to take advantage of your iPhone 12’s MagSafe capabilities, your options are to use a regular MagSafe wireless charger or add a wallet to the back of your phone, at least until the MagSafe Duo debuts.
