AppsFlyer has partnered with Unity Ads to launch its Privacy Sandbox on Android integration.
In collaboration with Google’s Android Sandbox team, AppsFlyer also launched one of the first Sandbox Attribution Reporting API dashboards that offers marketers privacy-compliant analytics.
The rollout of Privacy Sandbox on Android introduces tools that enable personalised advertising without relying on user or device IDs.
Marketers can now measure app instals using AppsFlyer’s platform and will gradually adapt their Android marketing strategies, audience targeting and retargeting while safeguarding user privacy.
A breath of fresh air
“We’re excited to see AppsFlyer and Unity Ads developing solutions using Privacy Sandbox on Android, and look forward to continuing to work with their teams and other organisations as part of an ecosystem-wide collaboration”, said Google’s head of measurement products, privacy Sandbox Jolyn Yao.
AppsFlyer’s AVP of product measurements, Roy Yanai, added: “In today’s privacy-centric landscape, navigating the Privacy Sandbox on Android or other frameworks can be extremely challenging for marketers.
Google’s approach to building the Privacy Sandbox has been a breath of fresh air, as they have sought out input from all across the industry to develop a framework that will be a long-term solution.”
