Assassin’s Creed Shadows features a lot of different side activities that reward players not only with experience points but also with all sorts of items, including resources that can be used to improve the Hideout and Legendary equipment, and Knowledge points, which are used to unlock new parts of Naoe and Yasuke’s skill trees.
Among the activities that Naoe alone can complete to earn Knowledge points, as well as unlock a specific achievement, are Kuji-Kiri, quick time events where Naoe meditates while sitting in some rather stunning locations. If you’re having trouble finding all 22 Kuji-Kiri locations, you have definitely come to the right place, as the maps below, divided by region, will help you pinpoint the locations with ease without having to look behind every nook and cranny of the game’s massive map.
Izumi Settsu Region
1 – To the east of the Hideout.
2 – To the southeast of the Hideout.
3 – To the southwest of the Hideout, right on the Rolling Glen indication when zooming in.
4 – To the west of Amagasaki Castle.
5 – Near Eboshigata Hachiman Shrine.
Iga Region
6 – Near Naoe’s House.
7 – To the east of Nabari Wilds, there’s a viewpoint to the northeast close by to help you find the right location.
Yamashiro Region
8 – To the northeast of Kyoto, close to the viewpoint.
9 – To the west of Shoryuji Castle.
10 – To the north of the Genbu Highlands, near the border with the Wakasa region.
Wakasa Region
11 – Inside Kajii Monzeki Temple, which is located to the southeast of the region, near the border with the Omi region
12 – To the east of the Kakurega in the Obama district.
Harima Region
13 – To the North of Kamakura Valley. It’s near a viewpoint.
14 – To the northwest of Himeji Castle, east of Mount Kusagata. You’ll have to climb a few mountains to reach it.
Omi Region
15 – To the north of the region, in the Takashima Shores area.
16 – On Mount Hiei, to the north of Sakamoto. During the meditation, you will be attacked by The Pond Yamabushi, a Level 40 enemy. As such, you will want to leave this Kuji-Kiri for when you are at a higher level, closer to the end of the Assassin’s Creed Shadows campaign.
Yamato Region
17 – To the West of Uda Matsuyama. The meditation spot is near a viewpoint and overlooks the castle for a gorgeous view.
18 – Inside Nyorinji Temple, near Yoshino.
Kii Region
19 – In the Kumano Sanzan area, near the Nachi Falls, which can be easily reached by going through Hiro Shrine. The general area is easy to spot even on an incomplete map, as it’s right to the northeast of the temple illustration.
20 – In the southern part of the Sazae Oni Shores region.
Tamba Region
21 – Inside Seirinji temple, in the village of Kameyama.
22 – In the northeastern part of the region, inside Sukyoji Temple.
