Despite having been released a long time ago, Batman Arkham Knight continues to be one of the best-looking games ever made. And with the right mods, the game by Rocksteady can look almost like a current-generation title.
A new video put together by Digital Dreams showcases the final entry in the series running with the Beyond All Limits Ray Tracing ReShade preset and the Extreme settings mod, which improve visuals considerably by adding better lighting, reflections, and more. While the sharpening seems a tad too much, especially for the rain, it is undeniable that the game’s visuals benefit from these mods a lot.
While the game was released a long time ago, Batman Arkham Knight is still the latest game developed by Rocksteady, as the developer has been working on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League for a long time. The game was supposed to launch this May, but it was eventually delayed following a rather disappointing showcase. The game will now release on February 2nd, 2024, but it’s unlikely that the developer will remove the live-service elements seen in the disappointing showcase, as that would require a deeper rework of the entire experience.
Batman Arkham Knight is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will make its debut, alongside the rest of the series, on Nintendo Switch later this year.
