The iPhone 11 series were Apple’s brand new set of iPhones for 2019 and they were incredibly popular. However, in October 2020 Apple discontinued all but the smaller iPhone 11 it introduced the iPhone 12 series, which includes the iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. You can find the best deals for the iPhone 12 handsets here.
This means that Apple is still selling the colourful iPhone 11 – now at the lower price of £599/$599 rather than £729/$699. That’s a pretty decent saving, but Apple’s not the only place selling the iPhone 11.
This could mean that you can now pick up an iPhone 11 for a lot less than you would have paid a month or two ago. But you should be careful to take not of what Apple is selling that handset for now – because some resellers will quote the original price to make the deal look better than it is.
Also, the fact that Apple no longer sells the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to find one for sale. While it’s possible that stocks will be in sort surply, it is possible that resellers will be selling them off to make room for the new models. So you could pick up a good deal. Then again, sometimes shortages of a particular model can mean they become more expensive.
The important thing here is to be clear about what the iPhone is worth and what you could be getting if you spent your money on one of the newer models – which have lower prices than the equivalent iPhone 11 models or twice the storage depending on how you look at it.
Fortunately we’re here to guide you through the best deals on the iPhone 11, whether you’re looking to buy SIM-free or on contract.
