Black Friday Ring video doorbell and security camera deals: FAQ
When is Black Friday?
Traditionally, Black Friday is the day after the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. This year, it falls on November 24. The shopping day is followed by Cyber Monday, on November 27.
When will Ring offer Black Friday deals?
Ring got a jump on Black Friday this year and has already discounted many of its video doorbells and home security cameras. The company is also offering deals on Ring Certfiied refurbished products, devices customers bought and returned or returned under warranty. Ring Certified means the company has restored and tested them and backs them with a one-year warranty. All of Ring’s Black Friday deals expire November 24 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
Which products is Ring offering deals on?
So far, Ring has discounted many of its video doorbells, security cameras, and security cameras with either integrated spotlights or floodlights. All except the floodlights are available as battery-powered devices, battery-power with a bundled solar panel, plug-in, or hardwired options. Plug-in models draw power from a plug-in adapter and can accommodate a battery for back-up power. Ring’s floodlight camera are wired only, meaning they must be hardwired to your home’s electrical wiring. These models draw too much power to have a battery back-up option.
So far, we’ve only seen deals on refurbished Ring Alarm systems, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for those. They’re our favorite DIY home security systems.
