Apple
During April 2016, Kabam teamed with Apple in support of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). For any Marvel Contest of Champions player purchasing the limited-time WWF Power Pack, WWF would receive 100% of the purchase proceeds. The pack included 3-star Hulk and a Go Green ticket to access a special quest in game.
In November/December 2016, Kabam was honoured to work with Apple to support (RED)’s mission to deliver an AIDS-free generation. In the Marvel Contest of Champions game, the player community were able to contribute to defeating a real-world enemy. The collaboration introduced (POWER PACK)RED for players to purchase, where all purchase proceeds went to the Global Fund. The player pack included 3-Star Daredevil (Classic) and Elektra, a (POWER PACK)RED TICKET to the exclusive quest, and some ISO-8 to level up these Champions in the game! In addition to the (POWER PACK)RED prizes, mastering it in-game would land players a guaranteed special 3-Star (CRYSTAL)RED which gave players Elktra, Daredevil (Classic), Iron Man, Red Hulk, Hulkbuster, or Guillotine – a great line-up of some favourite red-donned Marvel characters.
Marvel Entertainment
For over a decade, Kabam has teamed with Marvel Entertainment for arcade-style fighting game Marvel Contest of Champions. The game launched on December 10, 2014, and continues to release monthly content updates and new Champions (playable characters) as it celebrates its 10th Anniversary in 2024. The game goes beyond the films and dives deep into the Marvel Universe. Super Heroes and Super Villains from Marvel’s Avengers, The Defenders, X-Men, Inhumans, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Fantastic Four, and more battle it out in iconic Marvel locations in an epic storyline that stays true to classic Marvel storytelling.
Google Play
In 2024, Kabam partnered with Google Play at San Diego Comic-Con to introduce the Google Play WHEEL OF CHAMPIONS, a larger-than-life prize wheel rising high above the skyline at the Martin Luther King Jr Promenade next to the Hilton Gaslamp in San Diego. This activation officially kicked off celebrations for Marvel Contest of Champions’ 10th Anniversary celebrations. The Google Play Points WHEEL OF CHAMPIONS fan experience is open to the public. Nickelodeon
In 2021, Kabam collaborated with Nickelodeon to bring an Avatar: The Last Airbender special event in the free-to-play tycoon simulation/cosy crafting RPG game Shop Titans. The limited-time event brought fan-favourite characters, attire, gear, and other familiar themes from the iconic animated series to the award-winning game world of Shop Titans. The game’s new Avatar: The Last Airbender in-game content allowed longtime series fans to experience their favourite characters and series themes in a brand-new setting. Dave & Buster’s
In 2019, Kabam partnered with Dave & Buster’s and arcade video game entertainment company Raw Thrills to bring an exclusive Marvel Contest of Champions arcade game to Dave & Buster’s 122 restaurants and entertainment complexes in North America.

To date, over 280 Champions (playable characters) have been released monthly from across the Marvel Universe, including 6 original playable characters created by Kabam in collaboration with Marvel. - Accolades – Since its December 2014 launch, Marvel Contest of Champions has secured multiple accolades, including the Google Play Editor’s Choice in 2014 and 2018’s Google Android Excellence awards, as well as the App Store’s Editors’ Choice in 2014, while engaging hundreds of millions of players around the world.
- Top Mobile Fight Game – Marvel Contest of Champions remains one of the most played fighting games on mobile, including 2M monthly active players, 1.5M social media followers, 300M total installs to date, and a 4.6-star rating with Editor’s Choice on the App Store.
- Battlerealm Brawl Live Event – In 2023, Kabam hosted its first-ever live event in the Vancouver, BC area, which featured a Top 8 global player competition at The Gaming Stadium and a community celebration at the Kabam Headquarters. - Chee’ilth Exclusive Marvel Comic – In 2023, Kabam worked closely with First Nations cultural experts and Marvel to create the game’s first-ever First Nations-inspired original character, Chee’ilth, which was revealed during New York Comic Con. As part of the reveal, Kabam and Marvel also released a special-edition Chee’ilth digital comic book via Marvel.com for fans to learn more about the new character’s backstory and abilities. Shop Titans
- 5th Anniversary + Ongoing Content – Shop Titans, Kabam’s free-to-play tycoon simulation/cosy crafting RPG game, is celebrating its 5th Anniversary in 2024. Since its original launch, Kabam has released 1,000 Blueprints, 7 new Premium Worker characters, six tiers of items to craft and sell, enchantments for shop items, the Collection Book, Fusion, Blueprint Artifacts, and plenty of events. Players have also remained busy, crafting over 23 billion items and generating over 13 quadrillion gold.

- Community Appreciation + Seasonal Events – In 2024, Kabam hosted its first community appreciation month focused on delivering quality-of-life fixes for Shop Titans players. Kabam also created the Shop Titans webstore, allowing players to get free rewards and extra savings. Yearly seasonal events are also offered to players, such as October’s Halloween Content Pass and various spooky-themed content drops and activities for the community. (More Info).
- Blueprints – In June 2024, coinciding with Shop Titans’ 5th Anniversary game update, Kabam introduced Artifact Blueprints to players. This is a new and very rare blueprint (six total currently available in the game) for players to collect, each with a unique effect and offering stronger and more valuable blueprints compared to those of the same tier.
