Cyberpunk 2077 is among the most demanding open-world games available on PC and consoles, but it seems like we have come to a point where some Android devices can run the game with playable performance.
As reported by Pixel Gamer 4K on X/Twitter, the open-world game by CD Projekt Red can run on a Lenovo Legion Y70, powered by the Snapdragon 8+Gen 1 Adreno 730, via the Mobox emulator at 720p resolution, high settings. While performance often takes a hit, and there are plenty of visual glitches, it is still incredibly impressive to see a game like Cyberpunk 2077 run on a mobile device. It’s almost funny to see how Cyberpunk 2077 runs on powerful Android devices, as it definitely runs better than it did at launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Since its disastrous release in late 2020, the game developed by CD Projekt Run has completely turned around thanks to the developer’s amazing post-launch support, which culminated with the release of the 2.0 update last year that overhauled many of the game’s systems and made the experience more engaging.
