Ahead of the release of patch 1.1.1 later today, Diablo 4 patch 1.1.2 has been spotted as an encrypted developer build.
As covered last month, patch 1.1.1 is aimed to offer buffs to Barbarians and Sorcerers. In addition, this update will pack bug fixes as well as new features. One of the new features will be one that will be highly appreciated by the community – a free stash tab for every character, greatly expanding inventory space. Another change will be greatly reduced respec costs. As said, this update will be rolled out to all platforms later today, but the team is already working actively on the next patch as well.
As spotted by Wowhead’s patch sniffer, an encrypted dev build has been spotted on Blizzard’s servers. Now, since this is an encrypted build, we don’t yet know the details of this update but it will likely pack additional fixes, class and talent tweaks, and more.

Diablo 4 is available globally now for PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. The game was released back in June of this year and quickly became Blizzard’s fastest-selling title to date (going by pre-order sales). Unfortunately, the release of patch 1.1.0 didn’t sit well with the community due to massive nerfs to basically all classes. We reviewed the game upon release, praising its visuals, atmosphere, story, combat, improved skill system, and more.

It delivers incredibly fun hack and slash action combat, a greatly improved skill system, and a ton of things to do, not to mention the best story told in the franchise yet. It also looks awesome, sounds great, and runs well (except for rare instances of traversal stuttering)”, we wrote. “That said, it sticks a little bit too closely to the rulebook, which works against it in a few areas. The open world is not as dynamic as one could have hoped, with events getting repetitive rather quickly. The side content doesn’t provide any real narrative juice, and the endgame replayability may not be as deep as needed due to limited randomization and lack of certain features.”
