Media technology solutions company Diagnal has partnered with stc Group’s media arm, Intigral, for esports technology development.
The stc currently hosts major venues, tournaments, and activities to enhance the competitive gaming experience and boost engagement with new features on its platform.
This collaboration will support the company’s aim of enhancing entertainment in the MENA region.
It also led to a revamp of stc play apps, which now offer real-time updates, video sharing, match predictions, and an in-app shop in Arabic and English for iOS and Android users in the region.
Revolutionising esports in MENA
“The 2024 Esports World Cup marks a significant milestone in stc Group’s efforts to revolutionise the esports industry in the MENA region,” said Intigral CTO Bill Sharp.
“The partnership with Diagnal aligns with our goal of delivering continuous innovation for the stc play platform.”
