At the start of your adventure in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you can choose between only four of the ten Vocations in the game, but it doesn’t take too long to unlock two additional Vocations that are incredibly fun to play: the Warrior and the Sorcerer.
How to Unlock the Warrior and the Sorcerer Vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Before you can unlock the Warrior and Sorcerer Vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you must progress through the main story, complete the In Dragon’s Wake quest, and reach the city of Vernworth. Once you have access to the capital, head over to the Vocation Guild, which is located to the south of the Merchant Quarter.
At the Vocation Guild, speak with the man behind the counter to learn/assign new skills or change Vocation. In the Vocation change menu, you will notice the Warrior and Sorcerer Vocations are included, but not selectable. After leaving the menu, you will be informed that those two Vocations are unavailable to those who do not own the necessary equipment, as a gang of goblins has stolen a shipment of items from the armorer.
After learning of this predicament, return to the Merchant Quarter and speak with the armorer, who will ask you to recover the stolen goods. To do so, you must head to the Trevo Mine, located to the West of Vernworth. You will fight multiple groups of goblins inside the mine, so come prepared. The two weapons you need to recover are inside two different treasure chests.
After recovering the weapons, head back to Vernworth and speak with the man at the Vocation Guild. After the conversation, the two Vocations will become available. To unlock them permanently, you will need to spend Discipline Points, but once unlocked, you will be able to switch to them without having to spend more points.
