It hasn’t even been a month, yet EA Sports FC 24 players have already tallied 4.1 billion goals in the soccer game. And that’s just one major statistic EA is touting for the title. Additionally, the company has revealed the most popular nations, teams, and top scorers so far for the sports title, which launched September 27.
For instance, Ultimate Team players love to pick France, England, Spain, Brazil, and Germany. That means the US is a no-show at the top for most-represented nations. As for teams, FC Barcelona is No. 1 for women, while Real Madrid takes that spot for men.
This leads into the most popular matchups for EA Sports FC 24. For men, EA notes players love to see Real Madrid face off against FC Barcelona. Meanwhile, for women, fans prefer FC Barcelona against Chelsea.
Finally, for top scorers, Sam Kerr leads the women, followed by Kadidiatou Diani and Alex Morgan. On the men’s side, it’s Darwin Núñez, Ansu Fati, and Erling Haaland leading the charge.
Earlier this month, EA trumpeted the fact that EA Sports FC 24 started off with more players than last year’s game, which still featured the FIFA branding. Over 11.3 million people played the sports title in the first week this year–a million increase over 2022.
EA Sports FC 24 was also the third-best-selling game in September in the US, coming behind Starfield and Mortal Kombat 1. Tracking firm Circana also added that the soccer game saw notable growth over last year.
