Minecraft is at it again with another DLC. Instead of having NERF battles or becoming a Jedi, you’ll be joined by the King of Monsters, Godzilla.
Thanks to a Minecraft blog post, we know that the DLC will cost 1,510 Minecoins (Minecraft’s premium currency), which equates to roughly $10. Before players choose which modes they want to play, they’ll load into a theater that’ll be “covered in iconic memorabilia” and be able to interact with items that they’ve unlocked.
The DLC will have four different adventures, each based on one of Godzilla’s films. The first mission will have players trying to escape the city and Godzilla’s heat rays while looking for loot. While they’re escaping, players will receive additional points for saving others.
The second mission will force players to “speed build” a city Godzilla is in to ensure it doesn’t destroy the entire area. Based on the trailer, the third mission will have players get up close to the Kaiju as they fight it out, and the final mission will have you controlling one as you go toe-to-toe with other monsters.
Based on what was shown in the trailer, the DLC will feature various Kaijus such as Godzilla, Shin Godzilla, King Ghidorah, King Kong, Gigan, and a lot more.
