Tripledot Studios co-founder Akin Babayigit has started up a new investment firm called Arcadia Gaming Advisors with a $100 million fund for games companies.
People familiar with the matter shared told Bloomberg the investment will go toward studios making mobile games.
Based on a filing on gov.uk’s Companies House, Babayigit is joined at Arcadia Gaming Advisors by Orkun Kilic. Neither has “more than 50%” of voting rights. The listing suggests that the firm was formed in London in December 2024.
While Babayigit has yet to acknowledge the new firm’s existence officially, Spyke Games co-founder and CEO Rina Onur Sirinoglu posted about the news earlier on LinkedIn.
“I guess the cat is out of the bag? I couldn’t be happier for my long-time friend, brother, colleague and investor Akin Babayigit for his new fund focused on mobile gaming,” she said. “Upwards and onwards.”
A packed portfolio
Babayigit previously co-founded Tripledot Studios in 2018, which has gone on to become one of the UK’s top publishers. The company was ranked 24th in PocketGamer.biz’s Top 50 Mobile Game Makers 2024 list, and 11th in the Top 50 UK Game Makers 2025 list.
Last year he stepped down from his role as Tripledot president after more than seven years at the company, though continues to serve on the board whilst kickstarting his new venture.
Outside of Tripledot, Babayigit previously co-founded Luna Labs and has worked at the likes of King and Facebook. Meanwhile, he has an extensive background in investments with a portfolio including Layer AI, Agave Games, Million Victories, Spyke Games and Royal Match maker Dream Games.
