On Tuesday 17 November Apple released the first pre-release version of Mac OS Big Sur 11.1 to registered developers and other beta testers.
Judging by the first user reports, the focus this time seems to be on bug and security fixes, but it is not impossible that we will see new features before it is time for the next update to macOS Big Sur to be issued to the public.
If you want to get involved with testing the new version you can sign up for the Apple Beta Software Program. In addition to new versions of macOS, you can also test upcoming versions of iOS, iPad OS, TV OS and Watch OS. Read: How to get macOS beta.
If, on the other hand, you would prefer to stop receiving beta updates now that the final version of macOS Big Sur is here read: How to stop getting Big Sur beta updates.
