Today, Turn 10 announced the official PC specifications for its upcoming racing simulation game Forza Motorsport, due for release on October 10th (though just like Starfield, it is playable five days in advance for those who pre-purchase the Premium Edition).
The system requirements reveal that, once again, similarly to Starfield, you will need an SSD to play Forza Motorsport. Other than that, the specifications aren’t too surprising.

Turn 10 also confirmed that the game will support NVIDIA DLSS 2 and AMD FSR 2.2 at launch, as well as DirectStorage for ‘CPU improvements when loading files to memory’, which will decrease track loading times.
Interestingly, the developer has chosen to lock frame rates in multiplayer to balance competitiveness when playing online among PCs of various specifications and Xbox Series S|X consoles. Turn 10 didn’t say what frame rate lock will be in place, though it’s likely to be 60 frames per second. In single player mode, at least, Forza Motorsport players will be free to unlock the frame rates. Ultrawide and ‘non-standard’ resolutions will be available.
