on X, CDPR’s Global Community Director Marcin Momot added that the team has “one more” patch for Cyberpunk 2077, suggesting that this update might be the final major one for the game. “We have one more patch for Cyberpunk 2077 up our sleeve & it’s called Update 2.1!”, Momot wrote on X. “It arrives along with the Ultimate Edition on December 5th.”
After some store listings, the Ultimate Edition of Cyberpunk 2077 was officially announced by CDPR earlier this month. As expected, this version includes the main game as well as the recently-released Phantom Liberty expansion and a set of previously released digital goodies available as part of the “My Rewards” program.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available worldwide now for PC and consoles. The Phantom Liberty expansion is exclusive to the “current-gen” consoles and PC. Back in September of this year, CDPR released the major free 2.0 update for the game, overhauling various gameplay mechanics and core game features, including Perk Trees and the police system. In addition, this patch included plenty of fixes as well as improvements. As covered earlier this week, the paid Phantom Liberty expansion has sold more than 4.3 million units since launching two months ago. According to CDPR, the expansion has an estimated attach rate of roughly 20%.
