AI game creation and distribution platform FRVR has appointed Quentin Staes-Polet as its new CEO.
Staes-Polet will guide the company’s strategy, drive growth, and promote a culture of innovation and collaboration in his new role.
With over 25 years of experience from leadership roles at Epic Games, Unity, Take 2 Interactive, and Ankama, his appointment marks a new phase for FRVR as it continues to expand its presence in the AI and games industry.
Former CEO Brian Meidell has now taken on the role of CTO where he will concentrate on advancing technical innovation.
Leadership alteration
“I’m thrilled to be part of this talented team and build on the company’s success. I’m humbled and honoured to work alongside the founders Chris and Brian,” said Quentin.
“Our vision is to harness the power of AI to make game development and distribution accessible to everyone, and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to support the team to move it to the next level”
Ex-CEO Meidell added: “I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to lead FRVR for the past 8 years, and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved. For a while, I’ve wanted to be closer to tech and product again, so I’m excited to take on this new challenge and work closely with our amazing engineering and game teams.”
FRVR also recently closed a $12.7 million funding round led by Iberis Capital to further develop its AI-driven game creation platform, Forge.
