Today’s GeForce NOW update is a doozy for Capcom fans. At long last, Resident Evil games are going to join the service. Additionally, the service will also be expanded in terms of the RTX 4080 reach for Ultimate members as three more areas will be able to stream games with the ultimate high performance brought by this tier.
In total, nine games will be added to GeForce NOW. Here’s the list of games being added this week:
- Shadows of Doubt (New release on Steam, April 24)
- Afterimage (New release on Steam, April 24)
- Roots of Pacha (New release on Steam, April 25)
- Bramble: The Mountain King (New release on Steam, April 27)
- The Swordsmen X: Survival (New release on Steam, April 27)
- Poker Club (Free on Epic Games Store, April 27)
- Resident Evil 2 (Steam)
- Resident Evil 3 (Steam)
- Resident Evil 7 Biohazard (Steam)
The GeForce NOW library will expand, with Capcom’s iconic Resident Evil series leading the charge. The remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, as well as the critically-acclaimed Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will all join the over 1,600 titles that are available in the service. These games will include RTX ON and HDR support, allowing players to experience the ultimate survival horror experience with the best graphics. Resident Evil Resistance will also be available on GeForce NOW, allowing players to go through an asymmetrical multiplayer experience like none other.
If you want to treat yourself to some Resident Evil goodness with the best graphics, you can still take advantage of the 6-month priority membership discount that GeForce NOW is offering. This offer will allow players to get a 40% off the 6-month Priority membership with a total price of $29.99 instead of the usual $49.99. This will let members access GeForce NOW servers while experiencing fewer wait times and extended gaming sessions of up to six hours.
If you’re looking to go above and beyond and have access to the Ultimate tier, we have some good news. Three new regions are now going to support RTX 4080 SuperPODs. As such, members around the globe will be able to experience Capcom’s horror anthology with the ultimate high performance at up to 120 FPS. The regions in question are Miami, Portland, and Stockholm.
GeForce NOW is available on PC, iOS, Android, NVIDIA SHIELD, and select Smart TVs. You can also play your favorite games with the power of the cloud through the Logitech G Cloud and the Cloud Gaming Chromebooks. Additionally, players can still use the Backbone One or the Razer Kishi to maximize their cloud experience when playing on mobile devices.
