Amazon is holding its Prime Day sale from 21 to 22 June 2021. The company is promoting a number of Prime Day deals for Macs as well as for the Apple Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse and the Apple Pencil.
Below we will highlight some of the best Prime Day deals you can get on a new Mac, as well as detail the other Amazon savings you can get on Macs that aren’t specific to Prime Day.
Amazon Prime Day runs from 21 to 22 June. Prime Day discounts are exclusive to Amazon Prime members, so you need to be a Prime member to take advantage. Membership costs £79/US$119/AUD$59 annually, though customers can opt for a £7.99/$12.99/AUD$6.99 monthly subscription instead. A 30-day free trial is also available and you can cancel any time.
Mac mini deals
Amazon is advertising discounts on the older Intel-powered Mac mini for Prime Day. However the best discounts are on the newer M1 Mac mini, which isn’t being advertised as a Prime Day deal.
- 3.6GHz quad-core Mac mini (256GB) was £799, now £689 at Amazon, that’s £110 off except that when Apple replaced this model with the £699 M1 Mac mini it dropped the price to £699, so it’s really £10 off…
- …Which means you would be better off getting the M1 Mac mini (256GB), which costs £652 at Amazon (£47 off) – although you can get it for £648 at BT Shop.
- 3.0GHz 6-core Mac mini (512GB) was £1,099, now £899 at Amazon (£200 off). (This is the model still being sold by Apple and actually is the exact same price Amazon usually sells it for, as does AO.com and Currys.)
- The 2020 M1 Mac mini (512GB), normally £899, is £799.97 (£99.03 off) at Amazon.

iMac
Amazon is advertising discounts on the ‘renewed’ iMacs for Prime Day. However, the renewed (aka refurbished) iMacs are pretty old so we wouldn’t advise buying them.
If you were hoping to get a deal on a new iMac for Prime Day bad luck – they are all out of stock right now.
Amazon does have some discounts on 27in iMacs at the moment – although not specific for Prime Day (and in some cases no better than other resellers).
- 3.1GHz 6-core, 10th-gen, 2020 27in iMac. RRP from £1,799. Now: £1,549 at Amazon (£250 off).
- 3.3GHz 6-core, 10th-gen, 2020 27in iMac. RRP from £1,999. Now: £1,848 from Amazon and AO.com (£151 off).
- 3.8GHz 8-core 10th-gen, 2020 27in iMac. RRP from £2,299. Now: £2,099 from Amazon, AO.com, Currys/PC World and John Lewis (£200 off).

MacBook Air
While it isn’t officially discounting the MacBook Air for Prime Day the price is still a little lower than usual:
- The new M1 MacBook Air 8-core CPU /7-core GPU costs £999 from Apple but Amazon has it for £893. Get the deal here (£106 off).
- Amazon also has the M1 MacBook Air 8-core CPU/8-core GPU model that normally costs £1,249 for just £1,052. Get the deal here (£197 off).

MacBook Pro
Amazon isn’t officially offering discounts on the MacBook Pro for Prime Day, but as with the MacBook Air the prices are a little lower than usual, meaning they beat all the other resellers we usually track.
- Amazon has money off the 256GB M1 MacBook Pro, normally £1,299. It costs £1,129.97 at Amazon (£169.03 off).
- You can also find discounts on the new 512GB M1 MacBook Pro, normally £1,499, now £1,312.98 at Amazon (£186.02 off).

Apple Pencil
Amazon also has discounts on the Apple Pencil:
- For Prime Day Amazon is selling the Apple Pencil for £69.99 (normally £89), get it here (£20 off).
- Since it is Prime Day, Amazon has it for £99.99 (normally £119) (£19.01 off).
