No doubt you’ll be aware of this little event coming up later this month, in the form of Gamescom.
But you may have missed the fact that the Pocket Gamer team will be in town. Unless you read our regular emails, of course – in which case you’ll already know about the live Mobile Games Awards in association with Gamelight and the Pocket Gamer Party in association with Aptoide that are happening the same week.
Whether you want to meet our CEO, Chris James, talk to our sales team about sponsorship and content partnerships, or meet our specialist journalists to secure coverage for your game and business, there are three ways we’re making it easy for you to meet us in Cologne:
1) Attend the Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards 2024 in association with Gamelight

After months of nominations, lobbying, voting and judging, we will be thrilled to announce the winners of the Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Award 2024 in association with Gamelight in a live gala ceremony on August 20th – the evening before Gamescom.
The great and the good of the global games industry will get together at the prestigious Gürzenich Köln venue – and you could be there in person! Not only will it be a fantastic evening of drinks, dining and entertainment, but you could make the most important connections of your career.
Most of the tickets are now sold, with just a few remaining, so if you want to be there to hear the results on the night, don’t wait too long or you might miss out!

If you’ve ever joined us for one of our celebrated soirées, you’ll know you won’t want to miss out on the Pocket Gamer Party in association with Aptoide on the first evening of Gamescom.
All games industry professionals are welcome for drinks, dancing, and discussion in a celebrated city-centre nightclub. A Pocket Gamer Party is always a relaxed highlight of any conference week. Chill out in the company of game developers, publishers and other industry professionals.

Prefer to network during office hours at the conference itself? Not a problem! Come and see us on our booth at Gamescom to meet representatives from our events, journalism and sales teams – as well as our very own C-level executives.
You can just stop by and surprise us on the day – you know we’d love to see you – but these events can get busy! To avoid hanging around and make sure you get to speak to the right person, you can book a meeting in advance.
