Gran Turismo 7 is expected to get a huge update this week, with reports of the “biggest” vehicle drops along with several exciting content for the franchise’s enthusiasts.
The title’s series producer, Kazunori Yamauchi, came on X to drop a teaser for the upcoming event, which showcases seven different vehicles that are expected to be added to the game. While Kazunori didn’t specify the details, we do have an idea of what the vehicles could potentially be, which we will discuss later on.
A big update is coming next week.

So starting with the front row, based on what the famous car media outlet GTPlanet has suggested, they are probably the most “demanding” vehicles, starting with the Lexus LFA, Nismo 400R, and the 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. All three vehicles have debuted in the Gran Turismo movie, which is why they were able to garner immense interest from the community. The new vehicles are going to make an interesting addition to the overall vehicle pool, and we can’t wait to see how gamers react to the new “huge” update.
Moving on, the back row is a combination of American muscle along with current-generation vehicles. Starting with the classic Dodge Charger R/T 440, this car has been seen in the previous iterations of the game, so its addition is a no-brainer. Moreover, alongside the classic masterpiece is the more “modern” Dodge Challenger Demon, a direct alternative to the Charger Hellcat. On the left of it is none other than the Tesla Model 3, most likely the “Performance” variant, but that is just a guess for now. The last vehicle is more of a “ballpark” guess since it could be the W201 Mercedes-Benz 190E.
Kazunori Yamauchi has categorized the new 1.40 Gran Turismo 7 update as a “big” one. Hence, it could feature much more than vehicle additions, though that remains to be seen for now. There isn’t an official date for the new update. However, it will most likely drop by Thursday, November 2nd.
