A new graphical showcase has been released, showing the new Cyberpunk 2077 Overdrive mode with Path Tracing and with over 100 mods. The results are absolutely spectacular and deserve a watch.
For those who have been living under a rock for the past week – CD Projekt Red released its Cyberpunk 1.62 update, complete with the new Overdrive mode offering support for NVIDIA’s spectacular Path Tracing tech. As you might have read in our benchmark article some days ago, Cyberpunk 2077’s new Overdrive mode with Path Tracing is the new Mount Everest for PC gamers, offering visual eye candy alongside top-notch performance.
“Going back to performance, there’s no stutter to speak of, either, which is baffling when compared to stutter shows released lately that couldn’t hold a candle to this visual spectacle and technical prowess”, Alessio Palumbo wrote in his article recently. “Cyberpunk 2077 RT: Overdrive mode is easily the best-optimized PC game available at the moment for the most powerful GPU, and it’s about time that someone created a new PC technical showcase.”
Since the release of the 1.62 update for Cyberpunk 2077, various outlets (us included) tested the game running on an NVIDIA RTX 4090 GPU, but this new graphical showcase from German YouTuber and artist ‘Digital Dreams‘ might very well be the best yet. This YouTuber is known for his graphical showcases of games using his own custom ReShade ray tracing presets combined with mods to further enhance visuals or to make games look more realistic.
As said, this video has the game running in 4K resolution on an NVIDIA RTX 4090 and an AMD Ryzen 9 7950xx CPU. The showcase features over 100 mods for Cyberpunk 2077, which not only enhance the game’s visuals but also pack numerous Quality-of-Life improvements and changes to characters, NPCs, the minimap, cars, and whatnot. Some of the used mods include the 4K trees and vegetation mod, the better surface textures mod, the better minimap mod, cyber engine tweaks, a camera mod, a more immersive first-person mod, a high-resolution posters modification, more climbable objects mod, and of course, the YouTuber’s own ReShade preset.
The full list of used mods for this graphical showcase can be downloaded from Nexusmods here. It’s a stunning demonstration of Cyberpunk 2077 in action with Path Tracing, and we’re pretty sure that PC players will be interested in watching this video. Check out the showcase down below and judge for yourself:
Cyberpunk 2077 is available worldwide now for PC and consoles. As expected, the Overdrive mode with path tracing is only available on PC.
