Good Fun Corporation, formerly known as Black Matter and the developers behind Hell Let Loose, have shown off the first gameplay for their upcoming game, Hunger.
Hunger is a PvPvE extraction shooter that looks like its borrowing a lot of what made Hell Let Loose an impressive-looking game with a whole new setting. Instead of the World War II setting, Hunger drops you into Napoleonic Europe with a bit of a fantastical twist in a deadly Bacterium that’s running through the region like a plague.
Hunger will feature an RPG progression system with what Good Fun Corporation describes will be “a mix of methodical and frenetic ranged and melee combat as you enter a deadly and brutal dance with both the Hunger and other Living who seek to take what is yours. Find and equip armor, bags, trinkets, medicines, weapons, and shields to ready yourself for the different environments and battles ahead.“
The new gameplay trailer shows off Hunger’s mixture of firearms and melee weapons, with a short look at inventory management and the hub area you’ll explore.
Hunger is currently set to release later in 2025 as an Early Access title on PC, with three maps and over 30 weapons available at launch, with more to be added post-launch.
