Helldivers 2 PC Specs Are Out, and They’re Quite Demanding

Today, Sony and Arrowhead have released the official Helldivers 2 PC system requirements. The specifications are quite demanding, especially since there’s been no mention of advanced features like ray tracing being available in the game. To play at 4K and 60 frames per second, you’ll need an RTX 4070 Ti or RX 7900 XTX.

It was also confirmed that Helldivers 2 would support cross-play between PC and PlayStation 5, although that’s not really a surprise. Sony had long indicated it would try to release live service games day and date on PC and console to expand the online player base from the get-go. It only makes sense to maximize that potential through cross-play functionality.

Pre-orders for Helldivers 2 are open now on both platforms. The game due on February 8 is priced at $39.99, although there’s also a Super Citizen Edition. For $20 more, you’ll get the following in-game items:

• ‘Will of the People’ Cape.
• ‘MP-98 Knight’ Weapon.
• Super Citizen Status.
• Stratagem Hero Ship Game.
