Path of Exile 2 added a lot of new features compared to its predecessor, including new resources to manage, such as Spirit. Spirit is used to help permanently buff yourself or summon minions, which is ideal for a Witch build. One of the items you can get is Raging Spirits, which is a permanent buff to you that can be used in the Elemental section with an Uncut Spirit Gem. This guide will tell you what they do specifically and how you can obtain them in Path of Exile 2.
How To Get Raging Spirits in Path of Exile 2
Uncut Spirit Gems are relatively rare compared to items like Uncut Support Gems. Typically, these items only come from a few places, such as:
- Killing strong bosses
- Chests
- Quest rewards
While it may take you some time to get these items, it is definitely worth getting your hands on them if you are a Witch or Sorcerer, as those are the classes that rely on Spirit the most. To be able to utilize Raging Spirits, you need to meet a few requirements. Luckily, they are very easy to hit and will easily be completed in Act 1. They are the following:
- Level 10
- 30 Spirit
- 25 Intelligence
How To Use Raging Spirits in Path of Exile 2
Raging Spirits will appear on the list of abilities that you can drag to your hotbar, but you won’t actually need to, as it’s a passive buff. Although it summons minions, it procs from other abilities, such as Flame Wall or Firebolt, with the number of summons differing depending on what ability you use. To be able to summon Raging Spirits, you need to use fire spells, which you can incorporate into your build as a Witch or Sorcerer with ease. Other classes can use Raging Spirits, but it is significantly easier to incorporate it into your rotation if you are playing as a Witch or Sorcerer.
Raging Spirits are great for inflicting some extra damage while you are using spells. They don’t last long, as they are only up for a couple of seconds. However, in that time, they deal fire damage. If you are planning on doing a minion build, making sure to amp up your minion damage via the passive skill tree will also impact the Raging Spirits and make them more powerful every time they are summoned. However, leveling up skills that make your fire damage more powerful will not impact the Raging Spirits despite them equally doing fire damage.
That’s everything you need to know about Raging Spirits in Path of Exile 2, and how you can use them.
