World of Warcraft: The War Within has now entered early access, meaning players who ordered the Epic Edition of the expansion will be able to enjoy their time in the expansion before all hell breaks loose on the official release date of 26 August. Those wanting to get stuck into the new expansion can get their hands on a brand-new battle pet in WoW. If you’re going to get yourself the adorable Dalaran Sewer Turtle, who wears a different scarf every time they’re summoned, make sure to read the guide below.

How To Obtain the Dalaran Sewer Turtle
First things first, you’ll need to head to the Isle of Dorn. This is one of the new areas added to The War Within expansion, found on the surface of Khaz Algar. Once you reach the Isle of Dorn, you must head west of the Freywold Village, where you’ll find a turtle and a rat sitting under a tree.
From there, you’ll be asked to obtain specific supplies for the Dalaran Sewer Turtle. However, to be able to do so, you need to have some fishing experience under your belt. You will be asked to fish up the following resources for the turtle:
- 5 Dornish Pike
- 1 Goldengill Trout
To discern which pool to get these fish from, the Dornish Pike comes from the calm rippling pool in the water, whereas the Goldengill Trout comes from the Glimmerpool in Khaz Algar.
Once you’ve successfully given the turtle all of the fish you’ve caught from Khaz Algar, you’ll then need to find the turtle again. This is because the turtle leaves with the rat in tow and heads back to Dornogal. You won’t have to search too hard, though. The turtle and the rat can be found near the Stoneshaper’s Atrium in Dornogal.
Talk to Leonardo, and they will give you the Sewer Turtle Whistle. Right click to use it, and you’ll have your very own Dalaran Sewer Turtle. This pet is adorable, and is a great nod to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The scarf colors change between red, blue, purple and orange, just like the famous four turtles.
