At HP’s annual global partner event, HP Reinvent, the company unveiled Windows 10 PCs designed to help people pivot to the hybrid work environments that have emerged from the ongoing global pandemic. These devices aim to boost productivity and help users collaborate with ease from anywhere – without sacrificing security.
A key factor as people move to those environments: Faster PCs and faster internet are more important than ever before.
“We’re making our most premium experiences more accessible with new laptops that offer greater mobility to work from anywhere and desktops that bring the much-needed performance to small workspaces in the home,” says Andy Rhodes, global head of Commercial Personal Systems at HP.
The HP ProBook 635 Aero G7, weighing in just under 2.2 pounds with a long battery life, can go with you anywhere you need to work. Wi-Fi 6 and 4G LTE makes it easy to get connected. It’s environmentally responsible too; more than 62% of its mechanical parts are made from recycled materials. You can power it with the latest AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors, optional Pro APUs and integrated latest AMD Radeon Graphics.
Another perk: It’s made to withstand 1,000 cycles of disinfection with household wipes.
It’s expected to be available in November. Pricing will be available closer to product availability.
HP also introduced the HP ProBook 600 G8 and HP ProBook 400 G8 PC Series for professionals who want to move from desk to meeting room to home, with optional quad-core 11th Gen Intel Core processors. Both are expected to be available in November, at a starting price of $1,169 for the former and $729 for the latter.
For users who need more power for multi-task workdays, HP unveiled new Elite and Pro desktops.
The HP EliteDesk 805 G6 Series PCs feature an upgraded chassis, as well as new flexibility and expandability options. With HP Run Quiet Design acoustics, noise is minimal and VR-ready capabilities enable high performance workloads.
The HP EliteDesk 805 G6 Desktop Mini PC is a compact, high-performance PC that fits easily into an open office and is expected to be available in November for a starting price of $939, while the HP EliteDesk 805 G6 Small Form Factor is AMD-based and is expected to be available in October for a starting price of $929.
The HP ProDesk 405 G6 Series PCs features the latest AMD Ryzen PRO series processors for powerful performance and versatile options with quieter and energy-efficient designs for growing businesses. The HP Desktop 405 G6 Desktop Mini PC is expected to be available in November for a starting price of $649, while the HP Desktop 405 G6 Small Form Factor PC is expected to be available in October in select markets.
HP also introduced new monitors, which may come in handy for those who want to set up a work-from-home space that incorporates what they miss from their office. Videoconferencing – which is so prevalent now in place of in-person meetings – is made easier with the integrated pop-up webcam, microphone and attached speaker bar that come with the HP E24d and E27d Conferencing Monitors. With a single cable, you can dock your laptop and all your PC essentials. The HP E24D and E27D G4 Conferencing Monitors are expected to be available in October for $369 and $499, respectively.
With the HP E24t G4 FHD Touch Monitor, users can get hands-on without distracting glare and fingerprint smudges. It is expected to be available in November for $349.
