Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is here, and like its predecessor Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the game is a full-on turn-based RPG. Like all RPGs, there’s plenty of items and gear to collect in the game, but unlike most games in the genre, it isn’t immediately clear how to get rid of stuff once you don’t want it anymore. There are tons of vendors in the game, but most of them won’t buy your unwanted junk. Don’t worry though, there are ways to empty out your inventory and rake in a bit of extra cash and crafting items. Scroll on down for more info on the subject…
In order to sell your items, you’re going to want to find a pawn shop. These aren’t actually that rare, but again, there’s a huge number of vendors in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, so they can get lost in the shuffle. In Honolulu there are four “Treasure Select Pawn” shops on River Street and Hula Street, as well as in Chinatown and the Anaconda Shopping Center. I’ve circled the general areas of the four Honolulu pawn shops above (click the image for full resolution). There are also a couple pawn shops to be found in the north and south reaches of the Isezaki Ijincho map, although you won’t be spending as much time there.
You can sell items or weapons at pawn shops, but weapons can also be recycled for additional crafting materials at Julie’s Gearbox. This is your main weapon crafting and upgrading location and is automatically unlocked at the beginning of Chapter 4 of the game, so if you’ve got a bunch of old weapons you no longer have a use for cluttering up your inventory, consider hitting the Gearbox instead of the pawn shop.
And there you go – hopefully with those tips, your inventory is a bit less of a mess and you have some more cash and/or crafting materials to your name.
