Smartphone brand Infinix has partnered with Honor of Kings and MediaTek to establish a game research laboratory.
The strategic collaboration, which began some months ago, aims to drive innovation in mobile game technology and enhance players’ experiences.
By combining their strengths, the joint lab’s innovations will be integrated into Infinix smartphones, focusing on optimising game performance, network, and exploring AI-powered gaming innovations.
Infinix’s R&D centre will drive the lab’s development, the Honor of Kings team will provide gaming expertise, and MediaTek will contribute advanced optimisations to enhance mobile game performance.
Pushing boundaries
“We see immense potential in emerging smartphone markets, where mobile gaming is rapidly becoming a primary entertainment format,” said TiMi Studio Group business manager Jackson Jiang.
“This collaboration will allow us to deliver cutting-edge gaming experiences that delight players and push the boundaries of what’s possible on mobile.”
