Following the launch of four 5G-ready iPhones this autumn, we will probably see support for 5G connectivity in the new models of iPad Pro released in 2021.
According to sources cited by MacRumors, Apple will use a modem that supports both sub-6GHz and mmWave. The latter is a faster variant of 5G that’s currently only available in a handful of countries.
Other innovations that we can count on are a faster processor and support for mini-LED, a backlight that provides better colour reproduction, blacker, higher contrast and greater dynamic range.
