The launch of this autumn’s new models of iPhone is fast approaching, which means that it is the final sprint on the rumour front.
The latest news is that the well-known technology leak L0vetodream claims to have found out what the new models will be called.
12mini
12
12 Pro
12 Pro Max— 有没有搞措 (@L0vetodream)

The big difference compared to previous data is that the 5.4in model is (apparently) set to be called the iPhone 12 Mini, while the standard 6.1in model will be named iPhone 12.
The top models of 6.1in and 6.7in should in turn be called iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, respectively, which is logical considering that they succeed iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Since we have previously seen products such as iPod mini, iPad mini and Mac mini, the names sound pretty credible, but it remains to be seen if the information is correct.
If the iPhone 12 mini is larger than the iPhone SE that could cause confusion among users.
The new models will in all probability be presented at an event in October.
