In the full game, players will forge their own legacy as the bastard child of House Tyre, a small noble house in Northern Westeros. They’ll be thrust right into action by the death of the main character’s brothers and the looming threat of winter and forced to embark on a mission to restore House Tyre to its former glory.
With this objective in mind, players must consolidate their political standing, navigate the complex power struggles between the noble houses of Westeros, and seek out any allies while also helping the Night’s Watch prepare for the final confrontation with the White Walkers and their army of the dead that awaits just beyond the Wall.
As covered in our previous news story, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will also support a cooperative mode. In this mode, players can band together to face mythical creatures from the world’s most mysterious lore and earn great loot rewards. The game will launch at some point in Q2 (that is to say, before the end of June) on PC, iOS, and Android.
